Hi there!
We at Participatory Culture Foundation, the folks that make Miro, have a new project we're working on that will make it possible to subtitle and caption almost any video on the internet. It’s an incredible chance to break down language barriers and make the web more accessible to people with disabilities!
But we need your help to make it happen!
The project is called Universal Subtitles and we're thrilled that it’s been selected by Mozilla Drumbeat as one of their premier open-web projects. Mozilla is helping us raise funds to build these tools and they’ve offered to match every donation dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000! They are even promoting the project on the front page of mozilla.org right now!
We are very eager to get your help to take advantage of this amazing opportunity and to help us make the web more open and accessible for all of us.
Please donate now -- any amount you give will be doubled!
Thanks for working with us to make the web more open and accessible for everyone! For more about the project, signup for updates and join Mozilla Drumbeat.
Sincerely,
Nicholas Reville
